1. We believe in one true God, eternally existent in three equally divine Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
2. We believe in the deity of Christ; that Jesus Christ is fully God. This God took the human form and lived in person – incarnation. (1 Timothy 3:16, John 1:14&18, Hebrews 1:8, and Philippians 2:6).
3. We believe that God created humanity in His own image (Genesis 1:26-27); that every human being is fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalms 139:14). However, humankind sinned and thereby incurred the penalty of sin which is death physically and spiritually. Therefore, all human beings are inherently sinful and need God’s saving grace, (Romans 3:23 and 1 John 1:8-10).
4. The gospel is the proclamation of God’s finished work (the Kingdom of God); Jesus Christ being the central message that brings the forgiveness of sin and eternal life (salvation) to all who will believe in Him and confess Him as Lord and Saviour, (Romans 1:16, Acts10:42-43).
5. We believe that the Bible is the true Word of God and it is God inspired to reveal Himself, (2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12). We consider it to be fruitful and right concerning all things that pertain to life, (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, Psalm 119:128).
6. We believe that the one true Church is the gathering of those who have been redeemed by Jesus Christ, regenerated by the Holy Spirit to the glory of God. They are characterised by accurate preaching of the Word, proper administration of sacraments, genuine worship and submission to authority in matters pertaining to church governance. (Matthew 18:20, Colossians 3:17).
